Pilot Solenoid Control Valve

The solenoid control valve is a simple ON/OFF isolation valve which is a good substitute for a traditional gate valve, ball valve or butterfly actuated valve. The ON/OFF control function requires a simple electrical supply requiring only a small current to operate and is available across a wide range of sizes from DN50, DN65, DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, DN200, DN250, DN300 and DN350 and beyond. Stocked flange PN16 with ANSI150Lb, JIS10K and other flange options available very quickly as these solenoid operated control valves are manufactured with blank ends allowing for quick automated flange profiling to any customer specification. Voltage options include but are not limited to 12vDC, 24vDC, 48vDC and 24vAC, 110vAC, 220vAC, 230vAC and 240vAC 50/60Hz.

The unique patented cylindrical body design makes handling, shipping and installing the valve very simple as the external solenoid control circuit can be removed and replaced simply by removing the retaining bolts. The removable external pipe work circuit can be either normally closed (fail-safe closed electrical power to open) and comes with a manual override ball valve system to override into the open position or as a 2/2 way normally open valve (fail-safe open electrical power to close).

Open / Close Time: 3 to 5 seconds to prevent water hammer

The working pressure differential must be greater than 0.3 bar, i.e. the inlet pressure needs to be at least 0.3 bar higher than the outlet pressure. Remove all pipework impurities, metal fragments and dusts thoroughly and if possible install a protective filter upstream of the solenoid control valve. Avoid upside down installation under insufficient flow, valve inlet ideally should be horizontal or vertically inlet side face upward.
