Solenoid valves for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries are designed to control combustion systems pilot and main line fuel and control line applications. Typical Fuel, Gas and Oil solenoid valves are available in 2-way normally closed, 2 way normally open, 3 way normally closed, 3 way normally open and 3 way universal function with either servo pilot pressure assisted, direct acting or assisted lift / kick pilot operation.
Common materials of construction for onshore and off shore petro-chemical applications for crude oil, cracking gases and hydrocarbons are typically 316 Stainless Steel however even Brass or aluminium bodied solenoid actuated valves can be used for compressed air control for pneumatic valve actuation. Specialised options have been designed to meet the needs of the chemical processing and oil industries which include junction boxes, pipe taps, visual position indication, proof of closure or open ATEX rated position feed back switches, ATEX solenoid explosion and flame proof protection, Total certified corrosion protection GS EP CAR 350, helium leak and pressure testing and a wide range of industry specific certifications with world leading agency approvals including ATEX EEx d II 2 G/D IP6x, UL/CSA, 3.1b material, PED pressure equipment directives 97/23/CE to name but a few.
Typical pipe connections are available including threaded BSP or NPT from 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 11/4", 11/2" and 2", or flanged PN16, PN40, PN100 to PN300 and raised face ANSI2500Lb or more.
