Filters, Regulators, Lubricators and combination sets of Filter/Regulators, Filter/Regulator Lubricator and Filter + Regulator + Lubricator sets are used as air preparation systems for compressed air drying, filtration, pressure and flow control and safety and are available in Die Cast aluminium and 316 stainless steel for high pressure applications from 1/4" to 2" BSP. This includes compressed air purification (Filter), liquid separation (Filter) and pneumatic systems, oil aerosol and contaminant removal (Filter) with manual precision pressure control (Regulator) and pneumatic system lubrication (Lubricator).

Most untreated compressed air contains moisture, particles of rust, pipe debris, dust, oil and various other contaminants that are harmful to any pneumatic system and will have fluctuating pressures according to compressor minimum and maximum start-up and stop settings.
